PADI Underwater Photographer Specialty

The PADI Underwater Photography specialty is normally run as a two day course and involves:

• Watching a video
• Reading a manual
• Completing knowledge reviews
• Classroom sessions including theory, discussion, hands on familiarisation with equipment and viewing photos
• If a pool is available, a session in the pool to get familiar with the equipment
• Two photo dives where you take the pictures
• Review of the photographs you have taken
• The option of doing more photo dives

Quite honestly, I am too busy with photographic work to actually manage and organise a schedule of courses and student bookings. The way I now prefer to work is for a group of divers and/or a dive centre to organise a course where I then come along as the instructor.
